Arrivaing in the heart of Africa, Kurt Lederer and Ted Simmons are overwhelmed with the sights and sounds of Bangui, Central African Republic. It's taken them 20K words for the journey, but they are finally at their planned destination among the fauna and flora of the land-locked country. They haven't seen any Patas monkeys, but Kurt is very optimistic of completing his study of the primates in their native habitat.
I'll use this platform to review books I've read (and movies I've seen and are still worth watching), advertise my published books, say a few words about writing and reveal something of my world.

A new novel is taking shape. I'm a little over 11K into the story. Not exactly a topsy-turvy tale, but there are elements of disorder involved. A graduate student with a grant to study Patas monkeys in the Central African Republic finds a topsy-turvy aspect to his grant. The grant's administration has been shifted from the National Science Foundation to the CIA. What follows is the stuff of nightmares.
